What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so the next request can be recognised. Local storage is the browser’s own drawer for small pieces of data. Both are explained here in plain terms.
Cookies this service sets
They are few, and none of them is sold to anyone:
- Session cookie — created the moment you sign in and gone when you sign out or the session ends. Without it the application cannot tell one signed-in user from another.
- Keep-me-signed-in cookie — only if you tick that box, so you stay signed in for the period the sign-in page promises. Deleting it signs you out.
- Security cookies — a token used to check that a form came from our own page and not from somewhere else.
Local storage
Your display preferences — the colour theme you picked — are stored in the browser’s local storage on your own device, so the app looks the same next time. It holds no patient data and no credentials, and clearing it only resets the appearance.
What is deliberately NOT used
There is no advertising cookie, no cross-site tracking cookie, no social media pixel and no third-party analytics cookie on this application. Nothing about your patients or your browsing is packaged up and sent to an advertiser — that is not part of this product and will not be added quietly.
Managing them
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie, or clearing site data, signs you out and is otherwise harmless — nothing in the application stops working beyond having to sign in again.
Changes and contact
If what is stored ever changes, this page changes with it and carries the new date at the top. Questions: support@clinicsutra.com.
